Shipping Policy

Last updated: 1 month ago

Effective Date: 01-01-2025

Tripdeo.com (“Tripdeo,” “we,” “our,” or “us”) is committed to ensuring clarity and fairness in the delivery of services, including those that involve physical shipments. This Shipping Policy explains how physical and digital service deliveries are handled, buyer/seller responsibilities, timelines, and dispute procedures.

1. Scope of Policy

  • This policy applies only to services on Tripdeo that involve physical shipment or delivery (e.g., couriered documents, notary originals, SIM cards, housing-related documents).

  • Services that are digital in nature (e.g., visa form filling, itinerary preparation, translations) are not subject to shipping rules but remain covered under the Service Delivery Policy.

2. Seller Responsibilities

  • Sellers must clearly state:

    • Delivery method (courier, postal service, in-person handover).

    • Expected shipping timelines (standard vs. express).

    • Any shipping costs (included in gig price or billed separately).

  • Sellers must provide buyers with tracking details or proof of dispatch where available.

  • Sellers are responsible for packaging, labeling, and complying with local and international shipping laws (e.g., customs, export restrictions).

3. Buyer Responsibilities

  • Buyers must provide accurate and complete shipping information (name, address, contact details).

  • Buyers are responsible for being available to receive shipments or making arrangements for delivery acceptance.

  • Any delays or failures caused by incorrect buyer information are not the responsibility of Tripdeo or the seller.

4. Shipping Timelines

  • Sellers must ship physical items within the timeline stated in the gig listing.

  • Estimated delivery times should account for courier handling, customs (if international), and regional logistics.

  • Sellers should promptly notify buyers of any expected delays.

5. Costs & Fees

  • Shipping fees must be disclosed before purchase.

  • If included in the gig price, this must be clearly indicated.

  • Any additional customs duties, import taxes, or fees are the buyer’s responsibility, unless otherwise stated by the seller.

6. Risk & Liability

  • Until an order is marked “Delivered,” funds remain in escrow under Tripdeo’s payment model.

  • Sellers assume liability for goods until they are delivered to the buyer or their designated recipient.

  • Lost or damaged shipments must be supported with shipping insurance claims, if applicable.

7. Disputes & Non-Delivery

  • If a shipment is not delivered within the agreed timeframe, the buyer may raise a dispute.

  • Sellers must provide proof of dispatch and/or delivery.

  • Tripdeo will review evidence from both parties. If the seller cannot provide valid proof, the buyer may be eligible for a refund to their Tripdeo Wallet, per the Refunds & Cancellations Policy.

8. Policy Updates

Tripdeo may update this Shipping Policy to reflect operational, legal, or courier-related changes. Updates will be posted with a new Effective Date. Continued use of the platform constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
